Red Bean Soup

Ingredients

 

  • 4 cups of cooked 1000 Springs Mill organic Red Beans (1 ½ cups dry)
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • ¾ cup red wine
  • ½ cup beef broth
  • Salt & Pepper to taste

    Instructions

    Heat butter. Add onion and garlic; sauté until golden. Stir in flour. Gradually add wine and broth. Stir in beans and season with salt and pepper. Cover and simmer ½ hour, adding more broth if necessary.
